Assemblyman Ta said GGUSD is known for its sustained focus on high standards, accountability, and equitable opportunities for all students. He went on to say that Dr. Mafi’s collaborative approach with teachers, staff, families, and community partners has helped the district earn statewide recognition for academic outcomes and college readiness.

“This recognition reflects the strong partnership between our schools, families, community members, and elected leaders who are united in supporting our communities and ensuring student success” said Dr. Mafi. “I am grateful to Assemblyman Ta for this honor, proud of our district consistently beating the state and county averages on all achievement measures, and I look forward to continuing our work together in the years to come on behalf of the students and families we serve.”
